I have never taken pictures of cars before because I was intimidated by the elaborate setups and traditional ways to photograph cars. You have to control shadow detail, highlight tonality, reflections, and color cast. This is a 1:24 scale model of a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. My partner inherited a huge collection of cars from his uncle and all of them are so neat. I love the interesting color combinations and details that you just don’t see in today’s cars. This one in particular I like because of the colors, also because I came up with a new lighting setup using only 1 light (off-camera strobe flash).
