Decades: Mid-Century Mod
Had the pleasure to work with the guys over at Decades in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Their pieces are one-of-a-kind and it’s the real authentic vintage stuff. Check them out.
I had to scan some negative slides for a client yesterday and I thought they were really interesting. I like the one that contains the brain slices and these slides are dealing with hemorrhages and different brain-related subjects. I thought they were cool and kind of abstractly related to art and composition, color, etc.
We just had our couch re-upholstered and I am really in love with the color and how it came out. Doug Spivey, at Spivey Upholstery in Asheboro did a great job and I’m just glad we have a place to hang out now.
This is another image for my Macro class. It is a eucalyptus branch on a piece of light cyan paper. I use one light, but diffused the light coming from the back to create a multiple shadow effect.
This is a lumen that I did specially for the new lumen project II book that my classmates and I published. To preview the book, just click on the picture to go to our book available on blurb.com. Thank you!
Inspired by my Thanksgiving dinner, I used this butternut squash because of it’s striking color.
