Taken in rural Randolph County, North Carolina.

This is the longest partial lunar eclipse during the Full Beaver Moon. Indigenous Natives would use this as a sign to set beaver traps before the first frost to harvest food and materials for keeping warm during the winter.

I enjoyed making this photograph! Although it was a tedious process, planning, and COLD!! Hope you enjoy!
